#1-10 of Our Top 50 Reasons We Love Disney
50 podcast episodes.
50 years of Walt Disney World.
50 reasons The Mouse and Men loves Disney.
It’s time to finally get to number one on our list of reasons we love Disney, Disney World, and everything related to the Mouse. And let’s be honest, we probably could go on for days. But let’s just get to the last ten reasons.
10. Space Mountain Entrance Music - Music sets the mood. Have you ever tried watching Jaws without the music?! In Tomorrowland, the music really sets the mood for exploration and invention. And as you venture into Space Mountain, it’s taken to the extreme. The soundtrack really gets you ready to venture on a rocket excursion through space.

9. Unique Park Experiences - The Magic Kingdom is pretty much just Disneyland 2.0. But that’s about the only parks that are close in experiences. Sure, there are other versions of Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, but they are different. Every castle is different. Every park’s food offerings are different. Every park gives you a unique experience.
8. Honoring Walt’s Legacy - Walt believed the past should be honored but we should also forge into the future. That still holds true today as well. They preserve their past with attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, but they also are not afraid to update it with Jack Sparrow.
7. Customer Service - Disney is continuously voted one of the best in customer service year after year. They know how to take care of their customers, and they aren’t afraid to tell others all their secrets to customer service success through the Disney Institute (see number 19).
6. The Lion King - A groundbreaking movie for both Disney and Chris. Chris has already mentioned the artists in the parks, but this movie was one that really caused him to fall in love with drawing and animation. Visually, this movie was just beautiful.
5. Artists with Mops - Chris mentioned the artists teaching guests how to draw their favorite characters when visiting the parks, but have you ever noticed that even the janitors are artists?! If you see someone with a mop in the parks, keep a sharp eye on them; soon they might just create some temporary art that disappears after a few minutes in the Florida sun.
4. Special Events - It seems like Disney is always doing something special: Food & Wine Festival, 24 Hours of Disney, Flower & Garden Festival, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party/Boo Bash, etc.
3. Training & Leadership - The way Disney trains their employees is pretty incredible. When training is done, they are ready to create magic for their guests. And why are they trained so well? The leadership at Disney emphasizes training and emphasizes creating magic for customers. Again, you can learn about these topics at the Disney Institute.
2. The Yacht & Beach Club Pool - This pool is awesome! It has a sandy bottom. Need I say more? On top of that, it has a pool-side bar, the theming is amazing, and it’s very near Beaches & Cream for a tasty treat.
1. Remembering Their Story - It all started with a Mouse. They don’t forget this. Though there aren’t a lot of Mickey attractions, Mickey is everywhere. You can meet him in different places at each park, there are a couple of Mickey attractions, and there are Hidden Mickeys - silhouettes of Mickey hidden all throughout the parks. Mickey is in the DNA of the company and the parks.
And those are our top 50 reasons we love Disney! Is there one that stands out as your favorite? Is there one we left off the list that we should have included? Let us know.
And we hope you have enjoyed this installment of things we love. Our real number one is you - we do this for you and because of you. Thank you for joining us on this journey, and we look forward to creating more for you to enjoy!
