#21-30 of Our Top 50 Reasons We Love Disney
Are you read for more? The Mouse and Men has 50 episodes. Disney World turns 50 years old in October of this year. It just seems natural that we list our top 50 reasons we love Disney, Disney World, and everything related to the Mouse. Here are reasons 21-30:
30. Disney+ Shows - Marvel and Star Wars shows on Disney+ have been a huge hit. The Mandalorian with its western feel enthralled Star Wars fans the world over. WandaVision was such a creative way to tell a story in a way that a movie simply cannot. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier gave us the equivalent of over three movies of story. And now we are in the middle of Loki - another unique way of telling the story of a character we love and hate all at the same time.
29. The Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom - This show specifically on Disney+ shows us not only how Disney cares for the animals in its Animal Kingdom but the animals in all of its parks.
28. The World According to Jeff Goldblum - What’s not to love about Jeff Goldblum?! His quirkiness and his enthusiasm for everything makes for great entertainment. He brings edutainment to life as he investigates all matters of things, and his curiosity makes them interesting.
27. Emphasis on Story - For Walt Disney, if the story wasn‘t great, nothing else mattered; no amount of beautify animation or new technology could compensate for poor story. This is still alive today, and it’s what sets Disney apart from other companies.
26. Encouraging Imagination - Few companies inspire imagination as much as Disney. How many times as a kid did you watch “The Sword in the Stone” and then pretend to be a knight? How many times has your daughter watched “Moana” and then pretended to set sail on the seas in search for Maui?
25. Friendliness of Cast Members - The hard part about working in hospitality and customer service is that you generally don’t hear from the happy customers. Through it all, the Disney Cast Members remain some of the friendliest and nicest people you will ever meet.
24. Rose and Crown - A flight from Rose and Crown as you sit and watch the fireworks and light show in EPCOT is a heck of a way to spend an evening. When you only have a few days at Disney World, you often want to try to do as much stuff as possible. But slowing down to enjoy the moment is a great way to spend a little time. And boy, it tastes good too!
23. Great Food Everywhere - In every hotel, park, and area of the Walt Disney Resort, you can find great food. Like everything else Disney does, they only do it if they can do it well. Is all the food great? No. You can find McDonald’s caliber food at a lot of the “quick service” locations (that’s what Disney calls fast food). But there are also nicer options that have fantastic offerings. It’s all about your tastes.

22. Casey’s Corner - Who doesn’t love a good hot dog or corndog?! On top of that, you can hear some ragtime-themed Disney songs played on an upright piano just outside. Casey’s Corner, located at the end of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom nearest the castle, is the place to enjoy some corn dog bites while a pianist plays a western bar version of “Under the Sea.”
21. Always Getting Better - New technology, new rides, updated shows. Disney is always looking at ways to offer new things not for newness’ sake but for a better customer (and Cast Member) experience. Walt himself said his theme parks would never be finished.
We’re over halfway through our top 50 reasons we love Disney. Stay tune for 10 more reasons tomorrow!
